About Me
- Dawn Braa, DCTC Child Development Instructor
- Hello! Thank you for visiting my blog. I'll be reviewing website resources for early childhood providers, parents, and even children so that you don't have to! I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato with a degree in Family Consumer Science: Family Life Child Development, and a double minor in Parent Education and Early Childhood Education. I received a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from The University of Phoenix. I have worked in Infant, Toddler, and Intermediate rooms in various childcare centers, along with being a Lead Preschool Teacher, both in a center and public school system. I enjoy teaching early childhood sign language and am especially interested in curriculum planning for preschoolers. I taught at SCC in Faribault and Mankato before coming to DCTC. I began teaching at DCTC in August, 2004. My husband and I enjoy spending time with our young son. We spend our time together biking, swimming, rollerblading, and walking our dog.
